I can’t commend this post enough, an honest and accurate summary of what it’s like to be living in Ireland with mental health difficulties. Talking is absolutely essential, but is not enough to alleviate symptoms.
This country needs to provide nationwide, accessible mental health services to those who are willing and brave enough to talk.
It is not sufficient to encourage us to talk if you can’t provide adequate treatment.
